Bosentan has a molecular weight of 569.64 and a molecular formula of C27H29N5O6SH2O. Bosentan is a white to yellowish powder. It is poorly soluble in water 1.0 mg 100 mL ; and in aqueous solutions at low pH 0.1 mg 100 mL at pH 1.1 and 4.0; 0.2 mg 100 mL at pH 5.0 ; . Shown to reliably assess coronary blood flow velocity. It is possible, however, that in diseased segments in which flow was measured, the vasodilator capacity of the resistance vessel is reduced because of the stenosis. We gave heparin to our patients before beginning coronary catheterization; this drug can interact with mediators of the vascular endothelium, ie, ET, and decreases plasma ET-1 levels, 30 possibly by a nitric oxidemediated mechanism.31 However, because of the experimental protocol, it was not possible to do the study without heparinization of the patients. Because the study was placebo-controlled and all patients received the same amount of heparin, this effect is not likely to influence the results. These results are important for the pathophysiology of coronary artery disease and for future drug development. Indeed, the vasodilator effects of bosentan suggest that vascular ET contributes to coronary vascular tone. Thus, ET-receptor antagonists might be useful to treat myocardial ischemia. It is possible that during chronic therapy, inhibition of the proliferative effects of ET may be beneficial for structural changes. Hence, long-term studies with ETreceptor antagonists in coronary artery disease are necessary to determine their clinical potential and bronchial.

What is Bosentan
Although the precise prevalence of anaemia in malignant diseases is uncertain, it is generally thought to occur in about 20%60% of all cancer patients, with the incidence being the highest for patients afflicted with hematological malignancies.1 The incidence and severity of anaemia in the cancer patient depends on several factors Table 1 ; . The age of the patient, the presence or absence of infection, and the presence of concurrent co-morbid conditions are all important. The histology and stage of the tumour is also important. Anaemia of cancer often develops rather insidiously, and has an impact on virtually all organs and adversely affects patient quality of life fatigue is undoubtedly the most common symptom of anaemia of cancer2 and survival of many patients.3, 4 Cancerrelated anaemia is generally thought to result from activation of a number of cytokines, such as tumour necrosis factor, interferon- and interleukin-1. These cytokines act synergistically to suppress endogenous EPO production, impair iron utilization and reduce the proliferation of erythroid precursors.5 Recently many efforts have been directed towards understanding the molecular mechanisms resulting in the adverse impact of anaemia on the 12 and bosentan.
